John Schwenck is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Statistics at Texas A&M University. He obtained dual degrees in Economics and Supply Chain Information Systems from the Pennsylvania State University in 2016, where he also founded the Penn State Energy Marketing Association research organization. Upon completing his undergraduate degrees, John worked for a Northeast natural gas company, South Jersey Industries, from 2016 – 2019 as a Senior Analyst responsible for implementing various data science solutions throughout the organization. This past Summer, John rode his bicycle nearly 6,000 miles from New York City to Seward, Alaska to collect physiological, dietary, and location-based data for analyzing cardiac performance using various statistical methodologies during his graduate studies. In his spare time, John enjoys leveraging statistical analysis for Poker and various sports leagues (Survival Pools, Fantasy Football, Pick ‘Em, etc).
