Prisha Patel

Prisha Patel is a freshman Public Health major on the pre-medical track and is currently working on a collaboration project in the Applied Cognitive Ergonomics (ACE) Lab in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She is working on Mr. Changwon Son’s project entitled ‘Team Resilience in Emergency Operations’ (TREO) which focuses on the work of Incident Management Teams (IMT’s), disaster response, emergency preparedness, and occupational health and safety.

Her past research experience includes assistance in a DLBCL (Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma) research project in the laboratory of Dr. Richard E. Davis at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Other research interests include public health studies, specifically vaccine epidemiology.
